Branding

Quentes & Boas

The primary objective of the Quentes & Boas branding campaign was to visually and strategically standardize Maria do Céu Carneiro’s roasted chestnut business. Inspired by the traditional vendor’s call, "Quentes e boas, quentinhas..." (Hot and good, nice and hot...), we aimed to create a cohesive visual identity and marketing strategies that evoke the nostalgia of autumn and the tradition of roasted chestnuts in Portuguese streets.

Challenges and Strategies Implemented

One of the main challenges was capturing the authentic and traditional essence of roasted chestnuts while modernizing the brand to attract a broader audience, and ensuring the visual standardization maintained the rustic appeal of Maria do Céu's business in a competitive autumn market. To address these challenges, we developed a logo and color palette evoking autumn warmth, redesigned the packaging for attractiveness and practicality, created promotional materials highlighting the charm and tradition of Quentes & Boas, and implemented a social media strategy featuring stories about Maria do Céu and seasonal promotions.

Results

The campaign resulted in a significant increase in the visibility and recognition of the Quentes & Boas brand. Sales increased by 30% during the autumn season, and there was notable growth in social media engagement. The visual standardization helped create a strong and memorable identity that stood out amid the competition. Customer loyalty also improved, with many returning regularly to purchase chestnuts from Maria do Céu, now associated with a brand that conveys tradition and quality.

In summary, the branding and marketing campaign for Quentes & Boas successfully modernized and standardized Maria do Céu Carneiro's business, while increasing its visibility and attractiveness, resulting in sales growth and enhanced customer loyalty.
